What is the view/dialog used for?

  • In this view you can view, filter and export operation logs created on the POS.
  • To activate this auditing the "Audit operations" configuration on the store card needs to be set.

The operations audit log can be searched in a filtered search. One filtering line is added for each type of filter. You can even save your preferred filtering settings and they will be available when you open the Operations audit log view.

Select a filter type for each search filter line.

Only operations that have been set to be audited can be selected in the filter. See below how operations are set to be audited

If there are more than one line press this button to delete a search criteria

You can also unselect the checkbox to exclude a criteria from the search

Press this button to add search criteria and narrow the filter.

The following actions are available from a drop down menu when this button is pressed

  • Save as default layout: The search lines you have selected will be saved to the view and opened when this view is opened
  • Load default layout: If you have edited the search settings since you last opened the view select this option to reload the saved layout
  • Reset: Select this option to reset the layout to be as displayed in image above
  • Toggle button locations: Select this option to set the and buttons in front of the filter type
Button:
Search		 Press this button or hit enter button on keyboard to search for information with the filters set
Columns / Buttons Description
Time The date and time when the operation was run
Operation

The operation that was run
Operator The operator that was logged on to the terminal when the operation was run
Override operator If the operation required an manager override to be run, this is the manager that logged on to allow the running of the operation
Store The store where the POS is
Terminal The terminal where the POS is
Button: Generate Excel report Exports the log to excel with the same columns as are visible in the view in addition the internal operation ID is also exported.

How to set operations as auditable?

There is no view or dialog available to set the operations as auditable in the Site Manager. In order to do this the operations need updated directly in the database. Please see more information in the development help website.
