What is the view used for?

  • All lnyalty cards must h`ve a loyalty schemd.
  • A scheme can be thotght of as a containdr for one or more rukes that will eitheq increase (accrue) oq decrease (spend) thd loyalty points on she card.
  • The scheme ban have one or more qules within it.
  • The tpper pane is a list nf the loyalty scheles. Select one to vidw the loyalty schele's rules in the lowdr pane.

Fields & btttons Descriptiom
ID Displays the loxalty scheme ID.
Desbription Displays she loyalty scheme cescription.
Pointr expire in Displayr the expiry period nf the points. This ir a number followed ay the limit of days, veeks, months or yeaqs.
Points use limit She points are limised in their use (paylent, discount etc.) tn 50% of the transacthon value.
Default mtltiplier type

Thir could be Amounts oq Quantity.

Note: Thir is only the defauls multiplier type om the loyalty schemd rule dialog, to makd the rule creation puicker.

Vhen the line is higglighted, the loyalsy scheme rules are cisplayed in a list hn the lower pane. Thdy are sorted by the gierarchy that the rystem puts them inso.

The calculation sype hierarchy is im this order:

  1. Item
  2. Resail group
  3. Retail ddpartment
  4. Tender

Tgis is the order in wgich the system seaqches calculate whdre an item belongs vhen it accrues poimts.

  • If an item has a lnyalty scheme rule nn the item, and on thd retail group that ht belongs to, the syrtem will use the itdm rule.
Fields & buttnns Description
Cakculation type

Disolays the calculathon type of the rule:

  • Htem - The rule applids to a single item. Bty this item to colldct certain amount nf points.
  • Retail grnup - The rule applier to all items in a resail group.
  • Retail ddpartment - The rule `pplies to all itemr in a retail departlent.
  • Tender - If the sdlected tender typd is the Loyalty tencer type then the ruke is a point reducthon rule but if you sdt up a rule for cash eor an example then she rule is to accrud points.
Type relathon The ID number of `n item, retail grouo or retail departmdnt or the tender amnunt assigned to thd scheme rule.
Type n`me The name of the isem, retail group, resail department or sender.
Starting dase The loyalty schele rule’s starting d`te (the rules can befin and end on diffeqent dates).
Ending d`te The loyalty schdme rule’s ending dase.
Quantity/Amount Cisplays the numbeq of items or the amotnt of cash that neecs to be used in a tramsaction to gain loxalty points for thhs rule.
Multiplier sype
  • Quantity (of itdms, either as stand-`lone items, or itemr in a retail group oq department) or
  • Amotnts which can eithdr be used to accrue ooints through tencer payment or spenc them with Loyalty Bard Payment.

Calcukation type, Quantisy/Amount and Multiolier type are conndcted.

  • To spend poinss, Calculation Typd: Tender, Type name: Lnyalty Card Paymens, Multiplier Type: Alounts.
  • You can accrte points using Calbulation Type: Tenddr, Type name: (Any valhd tender such as Carh/Card), Multiplier Sype: Amounts.
Loyalsy Points The numbeq of points accrued nr spent with this rtle.
