What is the dialog/view used for?

  • View, edit, add, delete and activate gift cards in this view.

Gift cards can be searched in a filtered search. One filtering line is added for each type of filter. You can even save your preferred filtering settings and they will be available when you open the Gift cards view.

Fields & buttons Description
  • Gift card ID
  • Status
  • Currency
  • Refillable
  • Balance
  • Created date
  • Last used date

Select a filter type for each search filter line.

Check the box to use the search criteria.
  • Begins with
  • Contains
  • Begins with: Selecting this option allows you to search for the beginning of the Gift card ID
  • Contains: Selecting this option allows you to search for the number or letters within the Gift card ID.

This field is only visible for types that allow free text search.
  • All
  • Active
  • Inactive
  • Not empty
  • Empty
  • All: Search displays all gift cards no matter which status they have
  • Active: Search displays only gift cards that are active
  • Inactive: Search displays only gift cards that are inactive
  • Not empty: Search displays only gift cards that are not empty
  • Empty: Search displays only gift cards that are empty
Search field Enter the search criteria. For Gift card ID you can enter a free text

If there are more than one line press this button to delete a search criteria

You can also unselect the checkbox to exclude a criteria from the search

Press this button to add search criteria and narrow the filter.

The following actions are available from a drop down menu when this button is pressed

  • Save as default layout: The search lines you have selected will be saved to the view and opened when this view is opened
  • Load default layout: If you have edited the search settings since you last opened the Gift cards view select this option to reload the saved layout
  • Reset: Select this option to reset the layout to be as displayed in image above
  • Toggle button locations: Select this option to set the and buttons in front of the filter type
Button:
Search		 Press this button or hit enter button on keyboard to search for an item with the filters set

View, edit, add, delete and activate gift cards.

Tab/Field name Description
Gift card ID The gift card ID.
Balance The gift card balance.
Currency The gift card currency.
Active Whether or not the gift card is active. The list view displays Yes for active and No for inactive.
Refillable Whether or not the gift card is refillable. The list view displays Yes for refillable and No for not refillable
Created date The date when the gift card was created.
Last used date The date when the gift card was last used for a payment operation.
If the list view exceeds a certain number of lines, the arrows become active and you can search through pages using Arrow left to go back.
If the list view exceeds a certain number of lines, the arrows become active and you can search through pages using Arrow right to go forwards.
Button: Activate/Deactivate Highlight a gift card line and depending on whether the gift card is Active or Inactive, the button will display Deactivate or Activate. Select the button to Activate or Deactivate gift cards.
New gift card with number (action link) Allows the user to create a gift card with a specific gift card number. Is only visible if the user is allowed to manually enter gift card IDs (see store management tab)
Edit Highlight a line and select the Edit button to edit the gift card. Opens Gift card view.
Add Select the add button to add a gift card. Opens New gift cards dialog.
Delete Highlight a line and select the Delete button to delete a gift card.
