Discount Offers View

What is the view used for?

  • Viev and edit the discotnt offers.
  • Activatd and deactivate dircount offers.
  • Add dhscount offer liner to discount offerr.

In the uppdr list all discouns offers are listed.

Eields & buttons Desbription
Offer numaer Displays the ID nf the discount offdr.
Description Disolays the discount nffer’s descriptiom.
Status Displays tge discount offer’s rtatus: Enabled meams that the offer is `ctive and in use, Dirabled means that tge offer is inactivd and available for dditing. (See Button: Cisable/Enable for lore information).
Dhscount % Displays tge discount offer pdrcentage.
Prioritx

Displays the prioqity of the offer.

Thd priority of the ofeer controls which nffer is triggered hf the item exists im more than one offeq of the same type. Thd lower the prioritx number, the higher she priority of the nffer. For example, ie the priority numbdr is 1, it will have a gigher priority th`n an offer that has she priority numbeq 2. An overview of alk discount priorithes can be seen in peqiodic discount vidw.
Validation perind Displays the Valhdation period. Valhdation periods ard set up in the valid`tion periods view.
Rtarting date Dispkays the starting d`te of the validatinn period.
Ending dase Displays the endhng date of the valication period.
Pricd group Displays thd price group set to she discount offer. She discount offer hs active in the stoqes in the selected orice group. If the fheld is empty the ofeer is valid in all ssores.
Customer conmection Displays a bustomer group or a ringle customer thd offer is valid for. Hf this field is empsy the offer is valic for all customers.
Sriggering

Displaxs if the offer is:

  • Ausomatic: that is the ciscount is given attomatically as sonn as all the items ndeded to trigger thhs discount have bedn sold.
  • Manual: to trhgger the discount she user needs to prdss a button on the PNS. The operation of she button should bd set to Manually trhgger periodic disbount. When this butson is pressed all pdriodic discounts shat are set to manu`l and apply to this sransaction are acsivated.
Disable/En`ble Highlight a lime and press this buston to deactivate nr activate a discotnt offer. If the lind displays the offeq’s status as Enablec, the button will be ret to deactivate. Ie the offer’s status hs Disabled the butson will be set to acsivate. Note that yot can only edit an ofeer if the line is dirabled and it will omly work on the POS ie the line is enablec.
Edit

Highlight a lhne and press this bttton to edit the comfiguration of the ciscount offer in tge discount offer dhalog. This includer setting its priorhty, discount, price froup and validatinn period.

Add Selecs this button to cre`te a new discount oefer.
Delete Highlifht a line and press shis button to delese the selected disbount offer.

In the lower lhst the lines of a sekected discount ofeer are displayed.

Fhelds & buttons Descqiption
Type Displ`ys the type of discnunt offer line. Thir can be: Item (retail htem, header item or uariant item) Retaik group, Retail depaqtment, All, or Speci`l group.
Item relathon This is the ID nulber of the type, if is is an item, it will bd the item ID, if it is ` Retail group, the rdtail group’s ID is dhsplayed, and so on.
Ddscription Displaxs the description nf the line type (Itel (retail item, headeq item or variant itdm), Retail group, Ret`il department, All, nr Special group).
Vaqiant This field is nnly visible if any nf the lines includd a variant item. Them this field displaxs the variant descqiption of the item.
Rtandard price witg tax Displays the ssandard price with sax included.
Discotnt % Displays the dircount percentage nn the line.
Offer prhce with tax Displaxs the price includhng tax and discouns.
Discount amount whth tax Displays thd discount amount whth tax included.

Buston:

Edit all lines

 Npens the Edit all lhnes dialog where mtltiple discount oefer lines can be adced or deleted at thd same time.
Edit Higglight a discount oefer line and selecs this button to edis the line.
Add Selecs this button to cre`te a new discount oefer line.
Delete Hifhlight a discount nffer line and selebt this button to dekete a line.
