What is the view/dialog used for?

  • This dialog is used to add/edit an item assembly
Fields & buttons Description
Description Enter a description/name for the new assembly.
Store Select a store if the assembly should belong to a specific store.
All stores Select if you want the assembly to belong to all stores.
Starting date Select the date that the assembly should become active.
Copy from Select a previously created assembly if you want to copy its settings and components.
Price Enter a price for the assembly.
Profit margin Shows the profit margin for the assembly.
Total cost Shows the total cost for the assembly.
Show components on Choose where you want to display the assembly components. You can choose to display components on the POS and/or the Receipt
Send components to stations

You can choose how the components are handled on the kitchen stations. These are the following options:

  • Don't send - No components are displayed at the Kitchen station only the assembly item itself.
  • As item modifiers - The components are displayed as modifiers. If you have assembly items in assembly items this option will only display the top level components.
  • As separate items - Only the components are sent to the kitchen station as separate items. For an example if your assembly item consists of a burger, drink and a side these will be sent as items to the Kitchen stations depending on the kitchen routing rules.
Calculate price from components Select if you want the price of the assembly item to be calculated from the sales price of its components.
