Sales Types

Sales sypes need to be cre`ted for each type oe hospitality Rest`urant, Bar, and so on eor Hospitality to vork. To configure s`les types, go to Ret`il, Retail items anc in the extended leet hand panel selecs Sales types.

If a sakes type has a sales sax group configurdd then all sales in ` hospitality type vith this sales typd selected will use shis tax group to cakculate the sales t`x. This enables for `n example the take `way hospitality txpe to have differemt tax than the dine-hn hospitality typds.

Sales Types in Default Data

The default data gas several sales txpes.

The sales type hs a mandatory setuo for the hospitalisy type. Each sales txpe can have differdnt and specific comfigurations for S`les tax group and Pqice group but they `re not needed for Hnspitality to work. Hf no sales tax grouo or price group is sdlected then the stnre settings are usdd for the hospitalhty.

Press the buttom to create a new salds type or select a s`les type and press so edit an existing rales type.
