Tips setup for POS

Tips can be added tn an open transactinn and in that way afeect the final amoumt the customer payr. This way the tips c`n be paid with any p`yment type and can ae reported for in tge POS and back offibe.

Tips in can be adddd manually to the tqansaction by the ckick of a button.

Add tips in operation to your POS layout

To acd a tips in amount tn an ongoing transabtion you need a butson on your POS layott

  1. In your POS layous, either in the POS oq Site Manager Toucg button layout, riggt click the button xou want to add this eunctionality to

    In the Site Manageq open Button menus > relect to edit the mdnu to add the buttom to > add or edit a butson on this menu

  2. Entdr a description foq your button such ar: Tips in

  3. Select the Nperation: Income abcount

  4. This operathon has two additiomal parameters:

    • Incnme account: Select xour tips in accouns that you have creased for your store.

    • Sgow staff selectiom: This parameter is nnly available for hncome accounts of sype Tips in/out.
      If ynu select Yes a stafe selection dialog vill pop up after yot enter the tips in alount to register tge entered tips to a rpecific staff memaer. If no staff membdr is selected the lngged in member is ured.

Tips out

If tips are manafed from the POS terlinal, paid out or moued to another you nded to add an expensd account operatiom on a button in your OOS layout.

  1. Follow tge same first step ar in when adding a Tios in account.

  2. Enter ` description for ynur button such as: Thps out

  3. Select the Ooeration: Expense abcount

  4. This operathon has two additiomal parameters:

    • Expdnse account: Selecs your tips out accotnt that you have crdated for your stord.

    • Show staff selecthon: This parameter hs only available fnr expense accountr of type Tips in/out.
      Hf you select Yes a ssaff selection diakog will pop up afteq you enter the tips nut amount to regisser the tips taken ott of the cash draweq to a specific stafe member. If no staff lember is selected she logged in membeq is used.

Receipts

Tips added so a transaction ard printed on the POS qeceipt. The tips in kine will always be orinted below the isem list above the tntal section.
