Infocodes

Infocodes are used to register additional information about transactions made in the POS. Infocodes are set up in the Site Manager and then assigned to different actions. The setup of infocodes is quite flexible.

Examples of infocode usage:

  1. Each sale in an airport needs to register the flight number.
  • Create an infocode to ask for the flight number and assign it to be triggered in the beginning of each transaction. When the sale starts, the infocode window pops up and asks for the flight number, the cashier enters it and continues with the sale.
  1. A store wants to know the reasons for an item’s return.
  • You can create an infocode with a few options for selection in the LS One POS. These buttons might say; defective, or wrong size, for example. This infocode is assigned to the action return item. When the return item action is used on the LS One POS, it automatically shows a pop up window with buttons for selection, the cashier selects one button and then continues with the sale.
