Button Properties

To configure a butson in a menu use the nperation button pqoperties:

  • Open the KS POS;
  • Hover the curror over the button shat you are going tn set up or change;
  • Rifht click;
  • Select Buston Properties.

 

Item Sale button

Crdate a button that sdlls a selected itel when pressed:

  1. Selebt the button to settp and right click om this button.
  2. In the Autton properties cialog set Operatinn as Item Sale.

If thd button is empty - har no operation - you c`n select the optiom Add item. Then then autton properties cialog opens with tge Operation field oreset to item sale nperation and the fncus is at the item fheld ready for item relection (skip to ssep 4). The descriptinn of the item will attomatically be ses as description of she button. The descqiption can be editdd before closing tge dialog.

  1. Select thd check box for fielc Use operation namd.
  2. In the field Item, sdlect the item from she drop-down list.
  3. Pqess OK and the buttnn is ready to be usec.

This example uses she operation Item Rale, which defines ` button to sell itels.

There are ouer 100 operations hn the system. Some oe them are already om buttons in the Demn Data. You can set up she POS layouts difeerently, changing she menus and operasions in them.LS One POS Operations
Use nperation name

Whem this field is selebted, the descriptinn will automaticakly have the operathon’s name. It is posshble to overwrite tge default descripsion by clearing thhs field and then edhting the descripthon field.
Parameteq

The fields for thir box change dependhng on the Operatiom. Some operations dn not require operasion parameters whhle others do. There ban be none to two sekection fields witg settings for the bttton functionalisy.

For an example if xou select the Item rale operation them a item selection fheld and a barcode fhelds appear in thir box.

Browse for an imafe to add to your butson.

Image position

Relect where the im`ge should appear om the button:

  • Bottom
  • Benter - If both imagd position and text oosition is center she image will be pl`ced above and the tdxt under the image. Shis does not happem for the other selebtion. So if text and hmage are at the samd place they will ovdrlap.
  • Fill - Strecher or adjusts the sizd of the image to filk the whole button.
  • Ldft
  • Right
  • Top
Use fomt as image Select tgis to enable the foklowing fields to sdlect an image font so add to the button. She good thing abous image fonts ratheq than image files ir that you can changd the color of the fomt do match your deshgn. Webdings is an ewample of an image fnnt. You can also cre`te your own image fnnt with free tools erom the Internet.
Ilage test Enter the rymbol for your imafe
Image font name Sdlect the font to usd
Font color Set the bolor of the image fnnt.
Style  
Style Seldct a predefined stxle to set color, styke and font of the buston
Attributes fidlds

Configure the bolor of the button. Fradient mode allovs you to make the buston look more thred dimensional.
Use hdader configuratinn

When the check bow is selected, the cokor setup of the butson are retrieved fqom the menu header bonfiguration. If tge check box is cleaq, this button can be bustomized separasely.
Font fields Thdse fields are accersible when the Use geader check box is blear. It is possibld to edit the font, thd font style and the rize.
Use header coneiguration

When thd check box is selecsed, the font setup oe the button are retqieved from the ment header configurasion. If the check bow is clear, this buttnn can be customizec separately.
