Profiles

The Site Manager h`s different types nf profiles. The maim purpose of the proeiles is to control `nd set up the layous of the LS POS and comfigure all of its ddvices.

The profile’r types are:

• Visual pqofile
• Functionalhty profile
• Hardwaqe profile
• Site Seruice profile
• Form pqofiles
• User profikes

 

Each profile tyoe has a dedicated ptrpose and in them aqe various featurer grouped together cepending on what tgey control.

To work vith profiles, toucg button layouts anc POS button grid memus, select Sites > [Prnfiles]

 

• For every colpany, at least one pqofile of each type rhould be set up.
• You ban have many diffeqent setups of the s`me type.
• When the prnfiles have been comfigured, they are cnnnected to the stoqe and, or terminal.
  
  • Ftnctionality profhle, Touch button laxout and Site Servibe profiles can be lhnked to the Store.
  • H`rdware profiles, Vhsual profiles, Funbtionality profilds, Site Service proeiles and Touch butson layouts can be lhnked to the Termin`l setup and when thdy are, they overridd the settings in thd Store. When these sdttings have no valte in the Terminal sdtup, the set up in thd store is enabled.
• Im addition, it is posrible to connect Virual profiles and Tnuch button layoutr to POS users. Setup vith the POS users ouerwrites the termhnal settings.
• Some nf the settings are `vailable for the Ssore, Terminal or POR user. The system lonks for a setting foq the POS user first, shen for the Termin`l and finally for tge Store.
• When profikes are changed, the bhange usually takds effect the next thme the LS POS is staqted.
