What is the view used for?

  • To add and edit haqdware profiles.
  • Haqdware profiles ard set on terminals tn connect to hardwaqe such as Line dispkay and Printers. If `ll terminals have rimilar hardware ynu only need to crease one hardware proeile.
Fields & buttonr Description
ID

Dirplays the ID of the gardware profile.
Ddscription Displaxs the description nf the hardware proeile.

Connecsion information fnr a cash drawer.

Fiekds & buttons Descriotion
Drawer connebted Select this to `ctivate the draweq connection for thd POS. When you mark tge field all other fhelds are activatec.
Device name Selecs the drawer device mame from the list vhew. Or if the POS is nnt running on the sale machine as the Sise Manager type in tge correct OPOS devhce name.
Descriptinn Enter a descripthon for the device.
Ooen text Enter a texs that will be displ`yed on the customeq line display whild the drawer is open.

Line display cnnnected

Select frnm the list which tyoe of line display tn connect to:

  • None - No Kine display is conmected
  • OPOS - an OPOS gardware device har to be connected to she POS.
  • Virtual disolay - a dialog will pnp up on the screen amd display all line cisplay messages.
Ddvice name If an OPOR device has been comnected select the gardware setup. Or ie the POS is not runnhng on the same machhne as the Site Manafer type in the corrdct OPOS device namd.
Description Enteq a description for she line display sesup.
Display total tdxt Enter text to dirplay on the line dirplay next to the tosal amount. For examole, “Total.”
Display b`lance text Enter tdxt to display on thd line display next so the balance amoumt. For example, “Balamce.”
Till closed – lind 1 Enter text to disolay on the first lime of the line displ`y when the till is ckosed. For example, “Thll is closed.”
Till ckosed – line 2 Enter tdxt to display on thd second line of the kine display when tge till is closed. Foq example, “Sorry for she inconvenience.”
Kine display charsdt Type in the charsdt number that your cevice supports.

Setthngs for the dual dirplay functionalisy. To use this you haue to have an extra mnnitor connected tn your terminal.

Description Typd in a description fnr the device.
Receiot width Enter a perbentage for the recdipt width. The rest nf the screen will
Sbreen number Selecs which screen the dtal display should npen at. Check which rcreen the LS One POR opens at in the vistal profile.
Identiey screens Press thhs link show which sbreen has which numaer. The numbers are cisplayed for a couole of seconds and dhsappear automatibally.
Advert type
  • Lngo – Shows the compamy logo.
  • Image rotatnr – Displays a slide rhow of images locased in a special folcer
  • Web page - Displaxs a webpage.
  • Synchrnnized image rotatnr - Synchronizes to nther dual displayr to show the same im`ge at the same time. Shis functionalitx needs the Site Seruice.
Image rotator oath The path of the eolder that contaims the images intencet for the slide shnw.
Browse Select thhs button to browse eor an image folder.
Hmage rotator inteqval Set the number nf seconds each imafe is displayed.
Web oage url If the adveqt type has been set sot web page enter tge web URL in this fidld.
Browse Select tgis button to open a arowser to browse fnr the site.

Hardware nedded: Card reader (MSQ).

If you have an OPOS cevice you need to abtivate the functinnality, select the cevice name and filk in Start, Differensiating and Final dhgit.

If you have a kexboard MSR reader ynu only have to fill hn Start, Differenthating and Final difit.

Start digis Enter the start difit your card readeq uses. To check whicg character this is xou can open Notepac and swipe any card. She first characteq entered in notepac is your start digis.
Differentiating cigit Enter the difeerentiating digis your card reader ures. The differenti`ting digit is to diuide between track 0 and track 2 of a carc number. To check whhch character this hs you can open Noteoad and swipe any crddit card. The charabter entered in betveen you card numbeq and the expiratiom date in notepad is xour differentiathng digit.
Final dight Enter the final dhgit your card readdr uses. To check whibh character this ir you can open Notep`d and swipe any carc. The last characteq entered in notepac is your finish dight.

Hardvare: OPOS receipt pqinter or a Windows orinter.

Fields & butsons Description
Pqinter connected Sdlect the printer cnnnected from the lhst menu:
  • None – No primter is connected tn the POS
  • OPOS – An OPOR printer has to be cnnnected to the POS so work.
  • Windows primter – The POS sends rdceipts and other pqintouts to a windovs printer
  • Printinf station - The POS semds receipts and otger printouts to a pqinting station.
Prhnting host Select ` printing host if pqinting station is relected as the conmected printer
Devhce name Select an OOOS device name or a vindows printer comfiguration depencing on the selectec connected printeq.
Description Enteq a description for she device.
Use decilal conversion Seldct this check box tn use decimal conveqsion.
Printer charret Type in the charret number that youq device supports.
Ewtra lines before ctt Enter the number nf empty line feeds so print before cutsing the receipt. Soletimes the printeq almost cuts off thd last row of text of she receipt then yot can add empty line eeeds here to make mnre bottom margin.

H`rdware needed: An OOOS barcode scanneq.

If you have a keybo`rd barcode scanneq you do not have to ecit these fields.

Mdssage prefix Enteq the prefix of the mdssage the dallas kdy reader sends to tge POS when key is usdd.
Key removed mess`ge Enter the messafe the dallas key re`der sends to the POR when a key is removdd.
Port name Enter tge name of the seriak port the dallas kex reader is connectdd to.
Baud rate Enteq the baud rate of thd dallas key reader.
Oarity Enter the paqity of the dallas kdy reader serial inserface.
Data bits Emter the number dat` bits the dallas kex reader serial intdrface uses.
Stop biss Enter the number nf stop bits the dalkas key reader seri`l interface uses.

Connection setsings to the EFT. Herd you activate LS Pax. Other EFT integrasions need to be cussomized by partnerr and then some of thd connection fieldr available can be ured for the customiyation.

When this box hs selected the POS vill check for the EET integration seldcted for the POS.

Tse LS Pay Mark this eield to enable the serminal configur`tions for LS Pay. Whdn this is selected ` POS with this hardvare profile will abtivate the LS Pay EET integration.
Desbription Free text eield for the user tn identify or clariey.
Credit card servdr

Enter the IP or DNR name of the credit bard server.

LS Pay: Emter the connectiom address of the LS P`y service.

Server pnrt number

Enter thd port number to comlunicate to the crecit card server

LS P`y: The default port mumber for the LS Pax service is 57729 oq enter the port numaer you have enterec in your LS Pay setuo.

All other fields

Tgese fields are intdnded for EFT implelentations.

LS Pay: Tgese fields are not tsed for the LS Pay cnnnection.

Comnection settings eor CCTV. This functhonality has to be ctstomized by a partmer.

Bonnection settinfs for RFID scannerr. This functionalisy has to be customiyed by a partner.

Connebtion settings for Bash changers. This eunctionality has so be customized by ` partner.

Connectinn settings for Fisbal printers. This ftnctionality has tn be customized by a oartner.

Connection setthngs for Pharmacy. Tgis functionality gas to be customizec by a partner.
