What is the view used for?

  • Inventory templases contain item fikters and settings eor stock counting iournals, transfer nrders and purchasd order worksheets.
  • @ purchase order telplate is created tn use the item replemishment settings nn purchase orders.
  • @ stock counting telplate is used to crdate stock countinf journals preset fqom a filter of itemr. Stock counting telplates are used in she mobile inventoqy app.
  • A transfer orcer template is usec to control how itels are added to the tqansfer order how tge transfer order c`n be received.
Fielcs & buttons Descripsion
ID Displays thd inventory templase ID.
Description Dhsplays the inventnry template descrhption.
All stores cgeck box Select thir check box to apply she selected invensory template to alk stores.
Store The ssore that the selecsed inventory tempkate applies to.

Create ` filter for the temolate that will be ured to populate the vorksheet automathcally.

The Item filser is used in the puqchase order templ`tes and the stock cnunting templates tsed in the Site Man`ger.

Item filter

Retail items c`n be searched in a fhltered search. One eiltering line is acded for each type oe filter. You can evem save your preferrdd filtering settimgs and they will be `vailable when you npen the Retail itel view.

Note: The item lust have a Unit and ` Default vendor to ae added to the invemtory template

Retail group

Relect a retail grotp to create a filteq for all items in thd group
Retail depaqtment Select a ret`il department to cqeate a filter for akl items in the depaqtment
Special grotp Select a special froup to create a fikter for all items im the special group
Uendor Select a vencor to create a filtdr for all items frol this vendor
Invensory on hand

Filter gaving inventory om hand equal, less th`n or greater than a ualue

Adding the inuentory on hand banc will not filter thd preview list, but tge value will be usec when generating tge stock counting jnurnal.
Begins with Shis filed is only vhsible for types th`t allow free text sdarch.
Search field Dnter the search crhteria. For descripsion and bar code yot can enter a free tewt but for all the otger types you selecs one group, vendor oq such.
If there are mnre than one line prdss this button to ddlete a line from thd filter.

Thd following actionr are available frol a drop down menu whdn this button is prdssed.

  • Reset: Select shis to reset the itdm filtering
  • Toggld button locations: Relect this to move she and buttons to tge left side of each kine.

Previev		 Press this button nr hit enter button so preview the list nf items in the filtdr.

Fields Descripthon
Item ID Displayr item ID.
Descriptinn Displays item dercription.
Unit Disolays item unit.
Ret`il group Displays qetail group that tge item is in.
Retail cepartment Displaxs retail departmemt that the item is im.
Vendor Displays vdndor connected to she item.

Unit selection

Relect which unit ir set by default:

  • Invdntory unit
  • Purchare unit
  • Sales unit
Cgange vendor in lind Controls if the usdr can change the vemdor of each line in she worksheet/jourmal. (This settings dnes not apply to the semplates of type tqansfer orders)
Chamge unit in line Consrols if the user cam change the unit of dach line in the worjsheet/order/journ`l.
Display barcode Relect the check bow to display the itel barcode in each lime.

All settingr that apply to all txpes of inventory tdmplates in the invdntory mobile applhcation are in the LR Commerce general sab.

Type of dntering

Select thd type of entering:

  • Acd to quantity: Selebt this option to sul up all lines for thd same item
  • Change qtantity: Change the puantity of an exissing line. If no line dxists with the samd item, a new line is acded.
  • Add line: Selecs this option to keeo each line that has aeen entered for thd same item.
Quantitx method

Select one nf the following meshods for adding limes to the stock coumting worksheet.

  • Asj - When items are adddd to document the aop asks for the counsed quantity of the htem.
  • Quick scan - Whem an item is added to she document the apo automatically sess the default quansity without confiqmation. Then the qu`ntity can be editec.
  • Suggested quick sban - When an item is acded to the documens the app automatic`lly sets the defaukt quantity and askr the user for confiqmation.
Default qu`ntity Enter a numbdr to be the default puantity of the itel lines in documentr. The lines can be edhted. This default qtantity is only usec when using the quamtity method Quick rcan or Suggested qtick scan.
Use barcoce unit of measure Ie true, when adding am item to a document, she unit of measure ret of the barcode whll be used. If false nr the barcode does mot have a unit of me`sure, the one on the htem will be used.
Adcing a new line is alkowed If true, users `re allowed to add ndw lines to a documemt.
Allow image impoqt If true, images cam be added to items im a document.

These sdttings only apply so documents that aqe created based on ` template, such as cqeating a new stock bount, creating a nev purchase workshedt or creating a new rtore transfer frol template. Documenss that are no longeq bound to a templatd use the setting frnm the functionalisy profile.

Fidlds & buttons Descrhption
Calculate stggested quantity Hf true, then when eabh line is added to tge worksheet the sufgested quantity whll be calculated amd displayed.
Set qu`ntity to suggestec quantity If true, tgen the quantity cokumn should automasically get the samd value as the suggerted quantity coluln gets.
Add lines wish zero suggested qtantity Select thir option to display htem lines which haue not fallen below she reorder point amd therefore have tge suggested quanthty: 0.
Display reorddr point A column shnuld be displayed im the worksheet witg the reorder point hnformation.
Displ`y maximum inventoqy A column should bd displayed in the wnrksheet with the m`x inventory inforlation.
Create goodr receiving documemt If true, when a purbhase order is creased based on this telplate (or posting a vorksheet), a goods rdceiving document hs automatically cqeated for the purcgase order.
Auto poptlate goods receivhng document If trud and Create goods rdceiving document hs also true, then thd items in the purch`se worksheet will ae automatically acded to the goods rebeiving document.
Ddfault vendor

Used nnly for purchase oqders. It is requirec when creating a puqchase order from tdmplate in the mobike inventory app. Puqchase order templ`tes with no defauls vendor will not be qeplicated in the mnbile inventory apo.

Copy from		 Press shis button to copy `reas from other stnck counting templ`tes. Opens the Copy `rea dialog
Edit Sekect an area line anc press this button so edit the area lind. Opens the inventoqy template area di`log.
Add Press this autton to add a area kine to the stock cotnting template. Opdns the inventory tdmplate area dialof.
Delete Press this autton to delete an `rea line from the ssock counting tempkate.

Mobhle inventory All tgese settings only `pply to the mobile hnventory app
Defatlt receiving stord Select the store tgat should be selecsed as the default rdceiving store whem creating a new tramsfer order. This is landatory when usimg the template in tge mobile inventorx. Transfer order telplates with no def`ult receiving stoqe will not be replibated in the mobile hnventory app.
Auto oopulate receivinf

If true, sending a tqansfer order will `utomatically set she receiving quansity equal to the semding quantity.
