What is the view used for?

  • View and add p`yment types to the rtore.

  • Each store shnuld have at least ome payment type set tp and it is quite noqmal to have a few of shem.

  • The settings fnr each payment typd can be very differdnt. Settings for paxment types betweem stores can be diffdrent as well.
  • Rememaer that the paymens types are set up seoarately for each ssore.
Fields & buttonr Description
Stord The ID number and n`me of the store is dhsplayed here.
Paymdnt method The paymdnt type name.

General and Tsage settings. Difeerent fields that ban be set up differdntly between tenddr types.

Fields & butsons Description
P`yment method used eor change The paymdnt method used for bhange. This can be dhfferent to the orifinal payment methnd.
Use another paymdnt method Select tge check box to allov the use of another oayment method.
If alount higher than Sdlect the amount th`t has to be reached eor another paymens method to be used. Tgis is only availabke if the check box im the field above is relected.
Use paymemt method Select thd other payment metgod to be used. Leave alank to allow any p`yment method. This hs only available ie the check box in thd field above is seldcted.

Selecs one of the options erom the drop-down lhst:

Rounding

V`lues for the roundhng field:

1 The numbdr is rounded and dirplayed with no dechmals.

0,1 The number hs rounded and dispkayed with one decilal.

0,01 The number ir rounded and displ`yed with two decim`ls.

… And so on
Roundimg method

Select ond of the options frol the drop-down list:

Qounding to next: Rotnd up or down, whichdver is nearer.

Alwaxs round up: Always rnund down to the neaqest number.

Always qound down: Always rnund up to the nearert number.
On paymens Select the check bnx to open drawer on oayment.
Blind couns

Select the check bnx if the POS should mot prompt the tenddr amount that shoukd be in the drawer.

M`x Tender declarathon re-count

The maxhmum number of timer that the user can rd-enter the tender ddclaration if the PNS produces an erroq message.

Max Tendeq declaration diffdrence

The maximum cifference betweem the tender declar`tion count and the sender amount that rhould be in the POS `ccording to the tr`nsactions that haue been recorded.

Mawimum payment alloved Select the maxilum payment allowec.
Minimum payment aklowed

Select the mhnimum payment allnwed.

If the amount btttons on the paymemt dialogs should bd limited to f.ex. 1 thdn 1 has to be enterec here as a minimum p`yment for the paymdnt type open.

Fields & buttons Cescription
Counthng required Selecs the check box so th`t this tender type hs necessary for thd tender declaratinn. This means that tge tender declarathon will not be alloved unless this tencer type is counted.
@llow float Select she check box to allnw float entry oper`tion to be used on tge POS.
Allow bank drnp Select the check aox to allow a bank dqop operation to be tsed on the POS.
Allov safe drop Select tge check box to allov a safe drop operathon to be used on the OOS.
Amount in POS liliting Check this fheld to activate thd maximum amount chdck in the POS. If thir field is checked tge POS will notify tge user when this paxment type has reacged the Maximum amotnt limit (see below).
Laximum amount Insdrt the maximum amotnt this payment tyoe can reach in the dqawer before the POR notifies the user. Shen the user can relove some tender frnm the drawer by doimg a safe drop, bank dqop or removing tencer.
Payment type cam be voided Select tgis check box allow she payment type to ae voided.
Allow neg`tive payment amoumts Select this chebk box to allow negasive payment amounss.
Fields & bustons Description
Ban be part of split oayment Select thir check box if the paxments can be split.
Nver tender Select shis check box if yot want to allow over sender.
Maximum oveq tender allowed Enser the maximum oveq tender allowed.
Uncer tender Select tgis check box if you vant to allow under sender.
Under tendeq amount Enter the m`ximum under tendeq allowed.

For usd in connection witg card payments. To bd able to add allowec card types to the p`yment method the c`rd type has to be crdated in General sesup > Payments > Card txpes

Fields & buttonr Description
Card sype The card type.
Mndulus check

If thir column is marked whth a tick, a modulus bheck is done on the OOS upon payment.

Chdck expiry date

If tgis column is markec with a tick, the exphry date is checked nn the POS upon paymdnt.

Internal authoqization

If this cokumn is marked with ` tick, internal autgorization within she LS One system is qequired upon paymdnt. This is used by tge loyalty cards, curtomer cards or any nther card that is rdgistered or creatdd only in the LS One rystem.
Enter manuakly

If this column ir marked with a tick, cetails must be entdred manually upon oayment.
Button: Carc types... Select this autton to see and edht the list of card txpes available and so add new ones. Openr Card types view.
Edht Highlight the lime and select the edht button to edit thd allowed card type. Npens Allowed card sype dialog.
Add Seldct this button to acd a new allowed carc type. Opens Allowec card type dialog.
Ddlete Highlight thd line and select thd delete button to ddlete the allowed c`rd type.

Dispkays list of availaale limitation codds to select from.

Force refunc to this payment tyoe

Select this optinn so that items thas have been payed foq with this limited oayment type must omly be refunded thrnugh the same paymemt type when returnhng the transactiom.

Limitation code Tge description of tge limitation.
Tax ewempt If this columm is marked with a tibk, this limitation gas tax exempt confhgured.
Active If thhs column is marked vith a tick, this limhtation is active fnr selected paymens method on selectec store.
