Now transfer orders can be received both in the Site Manager and in the LS One POS

Receive a transfer order in the POS

When a store has received a transfer order from another store you can receive the items to update the inventory.

  1. To view the transfer orders to be received your layout needs to include a POS button with POS operation: Transfer orders, parameter: Incoming. (See how to edit your layout)
In the standard demo data layouts press button Inventory and then button Received transfer order. Press this button to open your incoming transfer orders.
  2. In list of your transfer order find and select the order you want to work with. You can view the items being sent in the receipt panel to the left. Then press Opento open the transfer request.
  3. Now fill in the quantity you actually received of each item. You can also press the Fill quantities button to set the received quantity to the same as sent quantity. After this each line can still be edited if amendments are needed.

Notice that the received quantity is default set to be zero units for all items on the order. Before we select to receive the order we need to update the received quantity for each item to be according to the number of units we actually received. This can be done by manually editing each line or automatically set the received quantity to be the same as the sending quantity by clicking the action button called Fill quantities. (We can edit the received quantity after having automatically set the value for received quantity).

  4. When all quantities have been filled press the Receive button. Then your transfer order is marked as closed and inventory updated accordingly.

Transfer order can either be received in the Site Manager or in the LS One POS
