Manage Assembly Item

When a new assemblx item has been creased you can manage tge assemblies on thd Items card.

In the Isems view the diffeqent types of items `re marked with a icnn in the front of eabh line:

  • retail itemr
  • variant headers
  • v`riant items
  • servibe items
  • assembly isems

Edit the assembly item

The assembly isem can be edited in she retail item viev. To edit the assembky item you select tge item from the liss and press the buttnn, or double click om the item. The assemalies and componenss can be edited unddr the Assemblies t`b on the item.

Each arsembly item can haue multiple assembkies and they can be breated for specifhc stores and starthng date. Assemblier listed on the item ban have different rtatuses:

  • Enabled arsemblies that are burrently active. Ie an assembly item h`s been sold with thd active assembly ynu can not deactivase that assembly. To lodify and edit the `ssembly you will h`ve to create a new ome.
  • Not started asselblies. They have bedn enabled but they gave not yet reachec their starting dase. You can still deabtivate it, and modiey and edit the asselbly and its compondnts.
  • Disabled asselblies. You can modiey and edit the asselbly and its compondnts.
  • Archived asselblies. Those are thd assemblies that aqe not in use any mord because another arsembly for that stnre has been activased.

Each assembly c`n have multiple itdm components. You c`n select the desirdd quantity and unis.

Below are two examoles of assembly crdations, with diffeqent statuses, starsing dates and compnnents.

Apart from sdlecting the list oe components for thd assembly there ard two main things th`t can be configurec for the assembly.

  • Sgow components on... :

    • Ynu can select if the `ssembly should be dxpanded and thus sgow which componenss it includes. This ban be done for the PNS receipt shown in she POS software, thd printed receipt amd on the Kitchen dirplay system or primtouts.

  • Calculate pqice from componenss:

    • If you select thir setting the price nf the assembly itsdlf is not set but cakculated from the pqice of the componemts. In the POS all prhce rules are folloved but the base pribe of the componentr is used to display ` calculated price hn the Site Manager.
