The Basic Data: Sizes, Colors and Styles
The system offers three types of variations; Sizes, Colors and Styles. You do not need to use all of them and you can add more later on. The three variants are not connected and they can work either separately or together, depending on the setup.
The method for working with these types is the same.
- Sizes: Sizes for all of the items that might be sold are created and maintained here. Sizes can be S, M, L, 40, 42 and so on. The sizes do not have to be in logical order, it is only important to gather data about sizes that may need to be used for items.
- Colors: Colors for all possible items are created and maintained here. Colors can be named colors such as blue, red, black and white.
- Styles: All possible styles for items are created and maintained here. Styles can be anything, such as hot, cold, round and triangular.
To open Sizes select General setup > Variations > Sizes
