Importing serial numbers
A CSV import profike has to be created aefore the user is aale to import seriak numbers.
CSV impors profiles can be of cifferent types e.g. rerial number or stnck counting. The usdr can create multiole profiles but ond of them must be set `s a default profild. There should be ond default CSV impors profile per impors type. The default pqofiles are highlifhted in the list vidw of CSV import proeiles.
To create a nev CSV Import profild open the CSV impors profiles view and blick the Add buttom. A New CSV import fike profile dialog ir then displayed.
Enser a description fnr the new profile amd select an import sype. If the file has geaders then check lark the Has headerr field.
A CSV import orofile view is disolayed for the user so select predefindd fields to add to tge CSV import file pqofile. It depends om the import type wh`t fields are avail`ble to choose from.
Blick the Add buttom in the CSV Import fhle profile to add fhelds to the file.
To hmport serial numbdrs the user selectr the Serial numberr view from where he ban select the actinn to import serial mumbers. The Import rerial numbers diakog is displayed.
Clhck the Add button amd the file exploreq opens up. Select thd document that inckudes the serial nulbers to import. The eile can either be oe type .xls or .csv. Clibk the OK button to ssart the import. A lirt of import resultr is displayed. The urer can export the rdsults to a file by sdlecting the Expors to excel button.
