What is the dialog used for?

  • Create a new display station
  • Configure the required properties for the display station
Fields & buttons Description
ID Enter a number that specifies the ID of the display station.
Station name Enter a name for the display station
Functional profile

Select he functional profile that the display station is using.

Add Create a new functional profile.
Style profile Select the style profile that the display station is using.
Add Create a new style profile.
Visual profile Select the visual profile that the display station is using.
Add Create a new visual profile.
Full screen Specifies if the display station is shown in full screen mode on the screen it runs on
Horizontal location Specifies which part of the screen, horizontally, the display station occupies. If "Full Screen" is checked, this field is not enabled.
Vertical location Specifies which part of the screen, vertically, the display station occupies. If "Full Screen" is checked, this field is not enabled.
Screen number Specifies the screen number where the display station appears. If the computer that is running the display stations has multiple screens, the screens can be identified by clicking on "Identify screens". It will display the screen number on each screen. Display Settings can either be opened by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Display settings or by opening the Settings window and selecting Display.
Display type

Type of the display station.

  • Preparation station - These are the line displays that manage orders item by item used when preparing each item.

  • Expeditor station - These stations are used to manage orders as a whole.

  • Customer facing station - The customer facing station is a chit display that can be used to show waiting customers when their order is ready.

  • CFD preparation station - Used to manage the customer facing station.
