What is the view used for?
- A display station is needed for each of the screens in your Kitchen.
- If multiple restaurants have the same Kitchen setup you can use the same configuration for multiple restaurants.
- The Display station controls what items are displayed on the screen and how it is presented by a selection of settings and profile selection.
- To configure the Item routing, routing rules are create for each display station.

ID |
The ID of the display station. The ID can be entered manually when you create a new Display station. |
Description | The description of the station. Used to identify the station. |
Display type |
Select the type of the display station.

Abbreviation | Enter a letter/word which can be shown on the Chit on the Expeditor Station or the line of the preparation stations to display on which stations this order is done. Usually the letters of the preparation stations are shown on the expeditor station so it is easier to see the status on the stations in the kitchen. |

Selects the display mode of the profile

Aggregate profile | Select an aggregate profile. This selection is optional. Use the ![]() ![]() |
Screen number | Specifies the screen number where the display station appears. If the computer that is running the display stations has multiple screens, the screens can be identified by clicking on "Identify screens". It will display the screen number on each screen. Display Settings can either be opened by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Display settings or by opening the Settings window and selecting Display. |
Next station | Select the which station is next in line in the production order for the station. This can be used to move order lines between stations in a production line. The order is updated to this display when choosing the Bump button action on the current display. |
Transfer to station | Select the station that the KOT will be transferred to, from this display station, when choosing the Transfer button action. |
Show only when bumped on previous | Select this option to not show the item on this display until it has been bumped from a station that has this station marked as next station. |
Full screen |
Select if the display station is shown in full screen mode on the screen it runs on. Multiple display stations can be shown on one screen by not selecting this feature and select on which horizontal and vertical location the display should be displayed. Maximum of 4 displayed can be shown on each screen. |
Horizontal location | Select which part of the screen, horizontally, the display station occupies. If "Full Screen" is checked, this field is not enabled. |
Vertical location | Select which part of the screen, vertically, the display station occupies. If "Full Screen" is checked, this field is not enabled. |
Max files to archive/recall | Enter the maximum number of files that can be recalled for this display station. If set to zero the Kitchen Service will set it automatically to 100. |
Use bumpbar | Select this check mark if bumpbars will be connected to the screens to bump the orders between the screens and to run other operations. |
Bumpbar operation | Select which button of the bumpbar should be pressed to pair the bumpbar to this station. If you have multiple display stations and one bumpbar for each station run from the same machine they must use different bumpbar operations to identify which bumpbar belongs to which display station. |

Configure an items filter for that display station that should either be included or excluded from the station
Fields & buttons | Description |
---|---|
Type | The type of the items filter. It can be selected as retail group, special group or as a single item. |
ID | ID of the items filter. |
Name | The name of the items filter. |
Include/exclude | Specifies if the items filter should be included or excluded from the display station. |
All items | Select if all items should be included for this display station. If checked, it will override all other include filters, but exclude filters will still be used. |

Configure a terminals filter for that display station that should either be included or excluded from the station

ID | ID of the terminal. |
Name | The name of the terminal. |
Include/exclude | Specifies if the terminal should be included or excluded from the display station. |
All terminals | Select if all terminals should be included for this display station. If checked, it will override all other include filters, but exclude filters will still be used. |

Configure the display lines of the display profile
Fields & buttons | Description |
---|---|
Hospitality type | The name of the hospitality type |
Include/exclude | Specifies if the hospitality type should be included/excluded from the display station |
All hospitality types | Select if all hospitality types should be included for this display station. If checked, it will override all other include filters, but exclude filters will still be used. |
