What is the view used for?

  • Create and edit display stations that are used in KDS
  • Each display has all the configuration needed for the KDS to run
    • Configuration managed in different profiles
    • Item routing
Fields & buttons Description
ID ID of the display station.
Description Description of the display station. This description is used and displayed in the header of the station.
Functional profile The functional profile that the display station is using. The functional profile contains settings such as the button configuration bump settings and how done orders appear.
Style profile The style profile that the display station is using. The style profile contains configuration on font and color styling of the different components of the KDS.
Visual profile The visual profile that the display station is using. The visual profile contains the layout of the KDS screen itself such as where are the buttons placed on the screen, where and how is the header displayed and aggregation groups and history panel.
Display mode The display mode of the display station. Shows if the station is a line display or a chit display. This is taken from the display profile.
Next station The name of the next display station that this display station will rout to.
Type

Type of the display station.

  • Preparation station - These are the line displays that manage orders item by item used when preparing each item.

  • Expeditor station - These stations are used to manage orders as a whole.

  • Customer facing station - The customer facing station is a chit display that can be used to show waiting customers when their order is ready.

  • CFD preparation station - Used to manage the customer facing station.

Edit

Highlight a line and press this button to edit the configuration of the display station in the display view.

Add Select this button to create a new display station.
Delete Highlight a line and press this button to delete the selected display station.
