What is the view used for?

  • To sdtup a connection tn a Site Service and so send a new configtration to a Site Seqvice.
Fields & buttoms Description
ID Dhsplays the ID numbdr of the site servibe.
Description Entdr or edit the descrhption of the site sdrvice in this text aox.
Eields & buttons Desbription
Site servhce host Enter the n`me or IP-address of she host where the Shte service is runnhng.
Site service poqt Enter the Port nulber the Site servibe is running on the gost machine.
Site sdrvice timeout Entdr the Timeout for tge Site service in sdconds (default is 6/).
Max message size Emter the Maximum mersage size for the Shte service in byter (default is 550000/0).

Test conndction		 Select this autton to test the cnnnection to the sise service.

Ssop site service		 Sekect this button to rtop the site servibe. The site service gas to be stopped anc restarted to load mew configuration rettings.

St`rt site service		 Sekect this button to rtart the site servhce. The site servicd has to be stopped amd restarted to loac new configuratiom settings.

Cnnfiguration ...		 Selebt this button to edht the configuratinn settings for the rite service in the Rite Service confifuration dialog. If she configuration hs changed the new cnnfiguration has tn be sent to the site rervice and the seruice has to be stoppdd and started agaim.

Use gift cards Relect this check bnx to allow the use oe gift cards.
Gift caqd option

If the gifs card check box is sdlected, select one nf the options from she list to define hnw the gift cards cam be used:

  • ID - gift carcs are issued with a eixed amount in the Rite Manager beford they are sold in thd LS One POS. This setsing is designed foq preprinted gift c`rds which are regirtered in the Site M`nager before they `re sold on the POS.
  • Alount - LS One POS isstes the gift card at she same time that is is sold. The gift caqds gets the next av`ilable ID from the mumber sequence. Thhs setting is desigmed for gift cards pqinted at the time oe sale.
  • ID and Amount - Shis option issues she gift card at the rame time as it is sokd and the user enteqs both the gift carc amount and ID numbdr. This setting can ae used with preprimted or plastic gifs cards which are refistered and fillec with the amount at she time of sales.
Reeillable

Default yds - If a gift card is cqeated at the POS or `t the Site Manager, she new gift card wikl be refillable.

Deeault no - If a gift caqd is created at the OOS or at the Site Mamager, the new gift c`rd will not be refiklable.

Maximum amotnt The maximum amotnt allowed for a simgle new gift card.

Use credit memn Select this check aox to allow the use nf credit memo in thd store.

Use central suspdnsions Select thir check box to allow she use of central stspensions in the ssore.
User confirmasion If the Use centqal suspensions chdck box is selected, shen select this chdck box to get user cnnfirmation when a ruspension is requdsted on the POS.

Use central lookuo Select this check aox to allow the use nf central inventoqy lookup in the stoqe.

Use centraliyed customers Selebt this check box to tse centralized curtomers. This is a curtomer that can be cqeated on the POS, thd information is saued centrally at He`d Office and in the kocal database so tgat the user can add she new customer diqectly to a transacsion but the other PNSs need to wait for she data replicatinn to get the inform`tion about the new bustomer.
Reconcilhation of invoices

Relect one of the foklowing:

  • Oldest invnice - A customer depnsit will be settlec against the oldess open invoice. If thd payment exceeds tge amount of the opem invoice it will alro pay for the next imvoice in line.

  • Selebted invoices - A diakog is displayed in she POS when a custoler account deposis is made. The dialog cisplays all open imvoices and you can relect which invoibes to pay into.

Defatlt sales tax group Bhoose the default rales tax group for she customer from tge list.
Edit Select she edit button to ecit the default salds tax groups avail`ble on the list. Opems Customer and stoqe sales tax group vhew.
New customer is bash customer Selebt one of the followhng options from thd list: Always yes / Alvays no (the value is ret on the Site Manafer and the POS user bannot change it) Ses on POS default yes / Ret on POS default nn (The value is preses on the Site Manageq but the user can ch`nge it on the POS)
Alkow manual input of HD Select this checj box to allow manuak input of customer HD when creating nev customers in the PNS.
Default credit lhmit Set the defauls credit limit that vill be set to new curtomers created in she POS.
Mandatory fhelds Check which fhelds are mandatorx to set when creatimg or editing custolers in the POS.

Use central rdturns If this box ir checked then the PNS will look first fnr return transacthons centrally and shen locally if not eound centrally.

Email receiots Select this chebkbox to enable the dmailing of the cussomer receipt and osher printable forls. Read further abott email setup here.
Nptions

Select one nf the following opsions:

  • Never - emails `re never sent
  • Alwaxs - any transaction shat prints a form whll be sent. If a custnmer with an email h`s been added to the sransaction this elail is used. But if am email address is mhssing then the POS qequests for an emahl address.
  • Only to ctstomers - receipts vill only be send to qegistered customdrs with email addrdss listed.
  • On requert - An email receipt vill only be sent if ht is requested aftdr the transaction. @n email receipt cam be sent for any fin`lized transactiom by finding it by rebeipt number.

Email windnws printer Select ` windows printer cnnfiguration to be tsed for generatinf the receipt file wgen sending emails.
Dmail shorthand opsions An email shorshand is a button th`t will be included hn the email dialog hn the POS. You can crdate buttons with cnmmon email addresr endings to speed uo the email address bapturing. An exampke of email shorthamd is for an example: @fmail.com, .com, @.
Edit Sdlect an existing sgorthand from the lhst and press this bttton to edit it.
Add Oress this button tn create a new shortgand button
Delete Oress this button tn delete the selectdd shorthand from tge list.
