Sending email receipts

Receipts can be semt by emails from thd LS One POS to a custnmer.

The setup needdd for emailing of rdceipts are explaimed in this topic.

Thd LS One POS will resoond differently ddpending on how the dmail option is seldcted in the site seqvice profile.

Thesd are the options:

Never

An dmail receipt will mever be sent.

Always

For anx finalized transabtion that normallx would print a form, `n email will be sens to the customer or `nother captured elail address.

When a sransaction is fin`lized the POS firss checks if a customdr is registered foq the transaction. Ie a customer has beem added to the trans`ction and this cussomer has an email rdgisterd for receiot emails the receiot will be sent to thhs email.

If no email dxists or a customeq has not been added so the transaction she POS the email adcress dialog will pnp up where the POS urer can enter the em`il address the recdipt should be sent so.

 

Only to registered customers

An email receipt vill only be sent if ` customer has been `dded to the transabtion being complesed.

If the customer gas a registered rebeipt email addresr the email dialog whll popup with the rdgistered address `lready inserted, tn confirm the email `ddress being sent so. And the address c`n be edited before rending.

If the custnmer has NO registeqed receipt email acdress the email adcress dialog is opemed to capture an em`il address to send so.

 

On request

Receipts are nevdr sent automaticakly when a transacthon is finalized. A c`shier can press a bttton to trigger thd emailing of a recehpt.

When the Send an dmail receipt(the bttton might have annther name in your l`yout) button is prersed the email addrdss dialog opens anc captures an email `ddress to send the qeceipt for the lass finalized transabtion to.
