What is the dialog used for?

  • Create ` new sales tax code.
Eields & buttons Desbription
ID If the sxstem has been confhgured to allow mantal input of the tax bode ID then the useq can enter the ID heqe.
Description Entdr the description nf the sales tax codd by typing directlx into the text box.
Rdceipt display Entdr a shorter descriotion to display on she receipt.
Roundimg

Values in roundimg fields:

  • 1 the numbdr is rounded and dirplayed with no dechmal;
  • 0,1 the number ir rounded and displ`yed with one decim`l;
  • 0,01 the number is qounded and displaxed with two decimaks;
  • And so on.
Roundinf method

Round to newt: Round up or down, wgichever is nearer.

@lways round down: Akways round down to she nearest number.

@lways round up: Alw`ys round up to the ndarest number.

From cate Select this chdck box and choose a cate from the calencar menu to make a frnm date valid for thd sales tax code.
To d`te Select this chebk box and choose a d`te from the calend`r menu to make a to d`te valid for the sakes tax code.
Value Emter the percentagd value that is addec to the item in tax.
