What is the view/dialog used for?
- View, add and edit sales tax codes.
A list of all existing tax codes.
Fields & buttons | Description |
---|---|
Sales tax code | Displays the sales tax code ID. |
Description | Displays the sales tax code description. |
Rounding |
Displays the rounding value. Example of rounding value:

Rounding method |
Displays the rounding method.

Edit | Highlight a line and select this button to edit the sales tax code and open Edit tax code dialog. |
Add | Select this button to create a new tax code and open the New tax code dialog. |
Delete | Highlight a line and select this button to delete a sales tax code. |
Values have to be added to the sales tax code. For each sales tax code the tax values are set up as lines and configured on the Tax code value dialog.
The tax code value should be defined for each sales tax code. It is possible to set up many tax code values for each sales tax code, which is practical to use depending on dates.
Fields & buttons | Description |
---|---|
From date | Displays the date that the tax code is valid from. |
To date | Displays the date that the tax code is valid to. |
Percentage/amount | Displays the percentage of that is added to the item’s value when this sales tax code is assigned to it. |
Edit | Highlight a line and select this button to edit the value in tax code and open Tax code value dialog. |
Add | Select this button to create a new value in tax code and open the Tax code value dialog. |
Delete | Highlight a line and select this button to delete a value in tax code. |
