Request for transfer

When you need inventory from another store you can create and send a transfer request to another store.

Transfer requests can be created in the Site Manager or the LS One POS

Create a transfer request

To create a transfer request:

  1. Go to: Inventory > [Transfers] Requests
  2. Select one of the following options:
    1. New transfer request - Creates a blank transfer request that you can add your items to
    2. Generate from an existing transfer request - Copies items and quantities from an existing transfer request
    3. Generate from an existing transfer order - Copies items and quantities from an existing transfer order
    4. Generate from a filter - Create a filter of items to add to your new transfer order
    5. View transfer request templates - Creates a transfer order from an inventory template
  3. In the next steps of the New transfer request wizard you will be asked to select which store to request for and from and when to expect the delivery.
  4. Press the Finnish button to create your new transfer request.

Send a transfer request

  1. Select Inventory > Transfers > Requests > Manage transfer requests
  2. A transfer requests list view is displayed.
  3. Select the Outgoing tab in the list view.
  4. If the transfer request has already been created highlight it in the list of transfer requests that is displayed, otherwise create it. It's also possible to select to send the request from the Transfer request view
  5. Add items and quantity to be requested or edit any existing lines.
  6. Click the Send transfer request button.

Now your request is visible to the store you have requested from both in the Site Manager and in the LS One POS.

It's possible to add and edit the item lines of the request until it has been viewed by the other store.
