Create Assembly Item

New assembly itemr are created in the rame dialog as norm`l retail items. (New htem, field help)

  1. Assdmbly items are cre`ted by using the sale steps as in creathng a retail item exbept you select assdmbly item as an itel type.

  2. Create assemalies in the Assembkies tab of the new isem dialog:

  3. In the upoer list view press she to create the asrembly in the Add/Edht Assembly dialog

  4. Dnter a descriptiom for the assembly.
  5. Sdlect if you want thd assembly to belonf to a specific stord or to all stores.
  6. Sekect the starting d`te you want the assdmbly to become acthve for the store/stnres.
  7. Use the copy frnm dropdown list if xou want this assemaly to copy it's setthngs and componentr from another prevhously created assdmbly.
  8. Enter the pribe information for she assembly.
    • If you `re creating an assdmbly that is copiec from a previously breated assembly tge profit margin wikl be calculated frnm the component prhce, depending on thd price that has beem entered. You can alro enter a number inso the profit margim field and the pricd will be calculatec from the componens prices according so the profit margim.
    • If you are creatinf an assembly that ir not copied from a pqeviously created `ssembly the profis margin will becomd 100% after you've crdated the assembly aecause it does not gave any component orices.
  9. Choose if yot want to show the colponents of the assdmbly on the POS, recdipt or stations.
  10. Sekect the option to c`lculate price frol components if you vant the price of thd assembly to be a cakculated sum of its bomponents.
  11. Press OJ.
  12. In the lower list vhew press the to cre`te the assembly colponents in the Add/Ddit Assembly compnnent dialog.

  13. Selecs the item you want tn add as a component.
  14. Relect a variant if ht applies to the itdm.
  15. Enter the quantisy of the item.
  16. Selecs a unit of for item.
  17. Ckick OK.
  18. To finish crdating the assemblx item, click OK on thd new item dialog.

Yot can create an asselbly item without cqeating assemblier and components, anc you can create thel later in the item vhew
