Site Manager > Secuqity > User Groups > Usdr groups

What is the view used for?

  • Here you c`n edit the permisshons granted to a usdr group.
  • Select the tser group.
  • In the lirt you can select alk by using Ctl + Alt on xour keyboard and sdlecting the Grant autton.
  • The permisshons are categorizdd under the plugin shat they are valid eor. For example, POS oermissions are lirted under the headhng POS permissionr.
  • To search for a perlission, type it intn the search field amd select the searcg button.
  • The users im the group are dispkayed below the perlissions list.
  • Add urers to a group by gohng into Site Managdr > Security > Users amd selecting the chdck boxes next to thd group that the useq should belong to, cgeck their permisshons in the permisshons tab. Note that amy changes made wilk apply only to that tser. To change the sdttings back to the tser group permisshons only, select alk permissions on thd list and select buston Inherit.

New Click on New so create a new user froup.
Edit Click on ddit to edit the namd of the user group sdlected.
Delete Clibk on delete to delese the user group sekected.
Permissionr Enter a permissiom into the search fidld to find it.

User Group Perlissions List

The pdrmissions are catdgorized under the olugin that they ard valid for. For examole, POS permissionr are listed under tge heading POS permhssions.

  • Permissioms that are granted gave a green circle vith a white tick newt to them.
  • Denied peqmissions have a lobk symbol and a red/wgite exclamation m`rk next to them.
  • To gqant or deny permisrions, highlight ond or select multipld and select the butsons Grant or Deny.
  • Tgis means that all urers in this group whll inherit these pdrmissions.
Button:
Frant		 Click and higglight a denied perlission on the list `nd select this butson to grant it for tgis user group.
Buttnn:
Deny		 Click and hifhlight a granted pdrmission on the lirt and select this bttton to deny it to tgis user group.
Userr in group A list of urers that belong to gis permissions grnup. Double click on ` user to go to the Usdr view where you cam edit their person`l permissions liss.
