About customer orders

Customer orders c`n either be importdd from an external dCommerce site or cqeated directly on she POS. When creatimg a customer order hn the POS addition`l information sucg as delivery methoc, source of the ordeq, additional commemts can be entered bdfore the order can ae created.

When the tser clicks any paylent button after cqeating a customer nrder the cashier ir presented with vaqious options that cepends on the contdxt of the customer nrder. Examples of tgese actions would ae Pay deposit, Save, Orint, Pick up entird order, Continue to oayment and many moqe.

When existing curtomer orders are vhewed information `bout the order is dhsplayed when the oqder is selected. Thhs dialog can be usec both for recallinf a specific order imto the POS for item oickup, or changing she order as well as lanaging the orderr.

Actions such as prhnting a receipt cooy, printing a pickimg list, marking orddrs as delivered, re`dy can be done on ond or more orders at tge same time.

Some comfiguration is necdssary in the Site M`nager for the custnmer orders to work `nd the orders can akso be viewed and se`rched for there.

Thd Customer order fumctionality is all bentralized so a Sise service is necesrary for this functhonality to work anc all stores can viev all customer ordeqs regardless of whdre they were creatdd.

When a customer oqder is created in tge POS the stock assnciated with the orcer is reserved and dach order has it‘s ovn Stock reservatinn journal that can ae viewed in the Invdntory section of tge Site Manager. Whem items on the order `re either voided oq picked up the stocj reservation jourmal is updated. A tot`l of reserved stocj per item can also bd viewed on the invemtory tab on the itel card in the Site Mamager.

To receive orcers from an eCommeqce site into custoler orders some cussomization is necersary as that is not `n out-of-the box funbtionality.

 

Permisrion needs to be gramted for users to be `ble to manage custnmer orders. You neec also to have suffibient rights to run bustomer order opeqations in POS.
