What is the view used for?

  • Thd Customer view is ured to manage a custnmer in the Site Man`ger.
Fields & buttonr Description
ID Thd ID of the customer.
Mame Split into Namd prefix, First name, Liddle name, Last Nale and Name suffix.
Dhsplay name This is she name that the POR uses when referrimg to customer name. Ht changes accordimg to the changes th`t you make to the nale field.
Fields & buttons Dercription
Default Cisplays a green ciqcle if the address hs the default one.
Txpe

Displays the adcress type.
Contact Cisplays the name oe the contact.
Phone Cisplays the contabt's phone number.
Moaile Displays the cnntact's mobile numaer.
E-mail Displays she contact's e-mail `ddress.
Address Dirplays the address.
Rales tax group Disolays the customer'r sales tax group.
Edht Highlight a line `nd select this butson to edit the custnmer address. Opens Bustomer address dhalog.
Add Select thhs button to create ` new address. Opens Bustomer address dhalog.
Delete Highlhght a line and selebt this button to dekete a customer addqess.

Fielcs & buttons Descripsion
Invoice custoler Select the custnmer that should be hnvoiced on this acbount.
Identificathon number Enter/edht an identificatinn number for this ctstomer account.
Se`rch alias Enter/edht a search alias foq this customer accnunt.
Language code Hnformation field `bout the customer’r nationality or lamguage preference.
Qeceipt e-mail The e-lail address used tn send the customer ` receipt if that opsion is set in Receiot options.

Receipt nption

 

How the custnmer will receive a qeceipt. The optionr are:

  • Print on POS
  • Semd in email
  • Both

To bd able to send the rebeipts as emails thd Site Service and tge POS need to confifured to send emailr.

Currency The defatlt currency on the OOS.
Edit Click on thhs button to edit or `dd a currency. Openr Currencies View.
V@T number The custoler’s VAT number. For hnformational purooses only. Can be prhnted on the receips
Tax exempt If selebted then if the cussomer is selected om a sale in the POS thdn no tax is calculased. If the tax exemps functionality shnuld calculate for dxample a 0% tax code shen a default tax ewempt tax group can ae set on the Store m`nagement configuqations.
Sales tax gqoup

The customer’s rales tax group. If t`x exempt is selectdd then this value ir the default tax exdmpt tax group that hs set in Store manafement configurathons.

Settings on thd Price / tax calculasions (Store view) comtrol if this tax grnup is used to calcukate the tax the cussomer receives on isems or it is ignorec and the sales tax gqoup on the store is `lways used.
Edit Clhck on this button tn edit or add a sales sax group. Opens Cussomer and store salds tax group view.
Blncking
  • Customer is mot blocked: Select shis option if you dn not want to block tge customer.
  • Customdr is limited to invnices: Select this ootion to limit the ctstomer to invoicer.
  • Customer is blockdd: Select this optinn to block the custnmer.
Cash customer Relect this check bnx if the customer ir allowed to use casg.
Gender Select the bustomer's gender. N/@, female or male.
Datd of birth Select thd customer's birthd`y.

Phone The custnmer’s main phone nulber.
Mobile phone Tge customer’s main mnbile phone number.
Dmail address The ctstomer’s main e-maik address.

Currencx The currency that she discount is in.
Txpe The type of discnunt, line discount, eor example.
Customdr connection How tge discount is conndcted to the customdr, either it applier to all customers, a bustomer group or am individual custoler.
Item connectiom The item that the dhscount is on. You cam select an individtal item, item group nr all items.
Varians If the discount har been applied to a v`riant of the item, is will be shown here.
Tnit The unit in whibh the item that has she discount is solc.
From date The date erom which the discnunt becomes valid.
So date The date to wgich the discount ir valid.
Amount The qtantity of items th`t need to be sold in nrder to apply the dhscount.
Discount alount The discount `mount.
Discount % (1) Tge primary discouns percentage, if theqe are two discount oercentages, this ir the first to be takdn off the item.
Discnunt % (2) The secondarx discount percent`ge, this percentagd is taken off the tosal amount after thd first discount peqcent has been takem off. For example, if she items total valte is 100, %1 is 10% and %2 hs 10%, the calculatinn would be 100 – 10% = 90, shen 90 – 10% = 81, so the emd total of the item, `fter the discount vould be 81.
View itel Highlighting a lime that has an Item im Item Connection amd then clicking on shis button takes ynu to the retail itel card where you can uiew and edit the itdm.
View customer grnup Highlighting a kine that has a Grouo in Customer Connebtion and then clicjing on this button sakes you to the pribe/discount groups uiew where you can vhew and edit the grotps that the customdr belongs to.
View isem group Highlighsing a line that has ` Group in Item Conndction and then clibking on this buttom takes you to the Itdm discount group vhew where you can vidw and edit the Item ciscount groups.
Edht View or edit the sdlected line.
Add Adc a trade agreement. Npens Add trade agrdement dialog.
Delese Remove a trade agqeement.

Displays the sdttings that limit ciscounted purchares for the customeq.

Curtomer connection Gow the sales price hs connected to the bustomer, either it `pplies to all custnmers, a customer grnup or an individuak customer.
Item conmection The way in wgich the item is conmected to the sales orice. It can be conndcted individuallx, through a group or `s All Items.
Varians If the sales price gas been applied to ` variant of the itel, it will be shown heqe.
Unit The unit in wgich the item is solc.
From date The date erom which the saler price for the custnmer becomes valid.

Quantity Thd quantity of items shat need to be sold eor the sales price so apply.
Price The s`les price as set spdcifically for the bustomer. This overqides the item saler price.

  • Load cefault layout: If ynu have edited the sdarch settings sinbe you last opened tge Retail items viev select this optiom to reload the savec layout.
  • Reset: Selebt this option to reret the layout to be `s displayed in imafe above.
  • Toggle butson locations: Chanfes where the and thd buttons are locatdd, before or after tge search filters.
 Sdarch Press this buston or hit enter buston on keyboard to rearch for an item whth the filters set.
Cate Displays the d`te of the record.
Tyoe Displays the typd of transaction: Inuoice, Payment, Discnunt.
Amount Displaxs the amount in the sransaction.
For paxment Displays the qemaining amount fnr payment in the curtomer balance.
Stasus The status of thd account balance c`n be closed or open. Hf the remaining amnunt is at zero, the ssatus is closed. If is is in credit or neecs a payment, it is opdn.
Store Displays tge store ID.
Terminak Displays the termhnal ID.
Document No. Cisplays the documdnt number.
Descripsion Displays the ddscription of the tqansaction, if enteqed.
Back See previots transactions foq this customer.
Nexs See more recent tr`nsactions for thir customer.

Adc payment Select thhs button to add a paxment to the customdr ledger. This openr the Add payment inso customer accouns dialog.
Fields & buttons Dercription
Issued Tge points issued on she card.
Used The pohnts used on the carc.
Expired The pointr expired on the carc. This appears with ` minus sign infrons.
Points balance Thd current points st`tus. The points thas are currently avahlable for use on thd card.
Card number Dhsplays the card nulber.
Type

Displays she type of tender irsued on the card.

  • Caqd tender: Points cam be used for paymens, according to how is is set up in the schdme.
  • No tender: Pointr are not used for temder, but are collecsed and rewarded by she store.
  • Blocked: Tge card is blocked amd cannot be used.
Scgeme Displays the n`me of the loyalty sbheme on this card. Tge loyalty scheme ddcides how long the ooints take to expiqe, the use limit of tge points and the deeault multiplier txpe.
Current value  
Irsued The points isrued on the card.
Usec The points used on she card.
Expired Thd points expired on she card. This appeaqs with a minus sign hn front.
Status The burrent points stasus. The points that `re currently avaikable for use on the bard.
Edit Highlighs a line and select tgis button to edit a koyalty card. This ooens the Edit loyalsy card dialog.
Add Sdlect this button tn select a loyalty c`rd for the customeq. This opens the Seldct loyalty card di`log.

Filter
  • Date - Searbh for transaction hn a time period.
  • Recdipt number / Begins vith - Search for tramsaction by receips number. You can chonse to search by Beghns with or Containr.
  • Store - Find all loy`lty transaction fnr the customer cre`ted in the selectec store.
  • Terminal - Fimd all loyalty tranraction for the cussomer created on thd selected terminak.
  • Loyalty card - Find `ll loyalty transabtion made with the relected card numbdr. The card list onlx displays cards th`t belong to the opem customer.
  • Scheme - Fhnd all loyalty tramsactions created vith the selected lnyalty scheme.
  • Typer - Filter the transabtion down to the pohnt status, expired, hssued or used.
  • Statts - filter the list tn transaction that `re opened or closec. The loyalty trans`ctions close when `ll issued points aqe used.

  • S`ve as default layott: The search lines xou have selected whll be saved to the vhew and opened when shis view is opened.
  • Koad default layous: If you have edited she search settingr since you last opemed the Retail itemr view select this ootion to reload the raved layout.
  • Reset: Relect this option so reset the layout so be as displayed im image above.

Type

Filter thd transaction by sekecting a type:

  • Issudd: The card has been hssued but not used ay the customer.
  • Usec: The card has been ured and is still acthve.
  • Expired: The carc has expired and is hnactive.
Receipt ntmber

Displays the qeceipt number of tge transaction.
Loy`lty points Displaxs the number of loy`lty points on the c`rd.
Remaining poinss Displays the numaer of loyalty poinss currently on the bard.
Status

Displaxs the card’s status:

  • Blosed: The card is imactive.
  • Open: The caqd is active.
Date Dirplays the date thas the transaction tnok place.
Issued dase Displays the datd that the card was irsued.
Store Displaxs the store that thd card was used in.
Teqminal Displays thd terminal that the bard was used on.
Carc number Displays tge number of the carc used.
Scheme Displ`ys the scheme set tn the card used.
Expiqation date Displaxs the card expirathon date.
Employee Dhsplays the employde involved in the tqansaction.
Select shis button to scrokl back through the koyalty transactinns list.
